New friction-reducing formula for OMV MaxxMotion Super 100Plus

Internal friction, caused by the piston movement, is a substantial effect for losing efficiency in engines. The OMV innovation team was able to achieve a valuable improvement step by reducing this metal to metal friction, supporting the engine running more efficiently and prolonging its lifetime. The new additive formula of OMV MaxxMotion Super 100Plus contains a new friction modifier, which reduces internal engine friction. As a result, instantaneously with the first filling of the tank, drivers in Serbia can experience this improvement for themselves.

New formula supports maximum engine efficiency

OMV MaxxMotion premium fuels are intended to be state of the art products. To maintain the position as one of the leaders in fuel technology, the OMV research and development team introduced a new formula for the new OMV MaxxMotion Super 100Plus. The new additive optimizes friction, especially at spots where the friction is crucial for engine wear. This leads to maximum efficiency in all types of gasoline engines, even in the newest generation of direct injected engines.

A protective layer prolongs the engines lifetime

OMV MaxxMotion Super 100Plus contains a new friction modifier. This improved specialized compound builds an active protective layer inside the engine on the cylinder wall. As a result, internal friction is reduced significantly, which leads to more efficiency and less wear. Besides an optimized fuel efficiency, the engine is protected from corrosion and deposits at the same time. *

Key benefits of OMV MaxxMotion 100plus*:

Our OMV MaxxMotion Super 100plus with min. 100 octane contains surface-active substances which have a friction-reducing effect. This reduces the friction between the piston rings and the cylinder bushing, and this lower internal friction results in optimum performance and maximum engine efficiency. The effect occurs already from the first tank filling with OMV MaxxMotion Super 100plus.


Maximum performance - better acceleration
Due to the high octane number of min. 100, OMV MaxxMotion Super 100plus burns fuel even more efficiently and cleanly - which in addition means a lower emission of emissions.

The unique composition of OMV MaxxMotion Super 100plus contains extremely tapped substances and thus offers a high resistance to autoignition effects of the fuel in the engine ("knock"). The potential for achieving the best possible ignition timing provides improved combustion efficiency and results in up to 5% more engine power * in the acceleration phase and up to 14% improved acceleration values.**


Maximum power and Efficiency
Our gasoline contains surface active friction reducing compounds. Therefore friction between piston rings and cylinder liner is reduced. Less internal friction means optimal power response and maximal engine efficiency. This effect is instantaneous, which means that it becomes valid even with the first tank of premium fuel.


* Measured in the most frequently used speed range of the motor during an acceleration process. The efficiency of the combustion in the engine is improved due to the high octane number. In the case of test bench tests of engines of medium-class vehicles, improvements in engine power of up to 5% in the lower to medium speed range were found for good elasticity.

The specific test results and test reports were checked by TÜV AUSTRIA AUTOMOTIVE.
