OMV and Charge&GO installed at OMV Martinci 1 the fastest recharging station for electric vehicles in Serbia

  • OMV and Charge&GO are expanding in Serbia the network of electric chargers
  • The most powerful and fast charger for electric vehicles installed in the OMV filling station Martinci 1

OMV and Charge&GO continue to improve the network and the availability of chargers for electric vehicles in our country. A new electric charger at the OMV filling station Martinci 1 is now available to all electric vehicles drivers. Thanks to the cooperation of the two companies, the highways in Serbia are getting more and more charging stations, which will make travel easier for domestic EV owners. And while the tourist season is in progress, this charging station will also mean that the EV drivers in transit through Serbia will also have a place to replenish their vehicle while taking a break to rest and refresh.

„The future of mobility also means a diverse offer at our filling stations that should satisfy all the needs of our customers. The charging station located at the Martinci 1 filling station is currently the most powerful charger located in Serbia, with 180 kW output power, which further increases the speed of vehicle charging”, said Decebal Sorin Tudor, General Manager in OMV Serbia.

Some of the characteristics of the recharger:

  • Charger is made in Austria manufactured by Kostad Siemens
  • It supports two DC charging standards used in Europe: CHAdeMO and CCS
  • It has an output power of 180 kW or 2 x 90kW (if both CCS connections are in use at the same time)
  • It works at temperatures ranging from – 30° to +55° C.

In August, Serbian EV drivers will have more fast charging stations available at OMV filling stations in Doljevac, on the Niš-Vranje highway, and at Gradina, the border crossing near Dimitrovgrad.

At the heart of OMV's corporate strategy is sustainable business. OMV has pledged to support the Paris Agreement targets and key climate targets set by the EU Council for 2030.

The company will achieve these goals thanks to the increased use of crude oil for petrochemical products, a higher share of gas in the product portfolio, hydrogen solutions for mobility and industry, e-mobility solutions and the delivery of advanced biofuels.
