OMV Serbia donates income from the sale of VIVA coffee to charity

  • The entire income made on October 1 on the Coffee Day from the sale of the VIVA coffee will be donated 
  • Donations for NURDOR and SOS Children's Village Serbia Foundation
  • OMV invites consumers to mark this day together and jointly contribute to the success of this activity 

OMV Serbia traditionally celebrates the International Coffee Day on October 1. With this drink, we share life moments every day, and in the changed circumstances that affect all of us, this year we share solidarity and health care together with consumers. That is why the entire income made from the sale of the popular VIVA coffee at OMV filling stations in Serbia during this year’s Coffee Day will be donated. The recipients of the donation will be NURDOR and the SOS Children's Villages Serbia Foundation. 

"We are confident that we can jointly overcome challenges we are faced with. Our customers have demonstrated to us numerous times that responsible way of doing business is important to them besides premium quality of our products and seamless service, and they are encouraging us to continue in giving support. We are happy that International Coffee Day is just an opportunity to jointly with our customers contribute to work of noble organizations on the welfare of children and youth to who this donation is intended", says Retail Manager Nikola Bozalo.

OMV invites customers to visit OMV filling stations on October the 1st and participate this activity.

Consumers can enjoy the rich offer and top of the class taste of Italian VIVA coffees in the pleasant ambience of VIVA cafes, or they can take their favourite beverage with them, suitably packed for use on the go. It is also useful to know that VIVA coffee sold at OMV stations bears the FAIRTRADE logo and symbolizes fair pay and support for coffee growers in developing countries. Contribution to the sustainable development of society and the economy while respecting the environment are an integral part of OMV's responsible business in Serbia and the world. 

NURDOR is the National Association of Parents of Children with Cancer, which consists of parents, doctors, medical staff and all people of good will in the mission of improving the quality of treatment and life of children with cancer and their families. Through workshops and counselling, they provide psycho-social support and assistance in exercising legal rights, provide the most modern conditions in chemo-oncology departments, and educate parents, children, medical staff, volunteers and the general public.

The SOS Children's Village Serbia Foundation, which aims to keep families together, is a member of the International Organization of SOS Children's Villages founded in 1949. The organization today supports more than 1,200,000 people in 136 countries and territories, with the mission of forming a family for children in need, helping to build their futures and develop the communities in which they live. The unique concept of caring for children without parental care the SOS Children's Village Serbia Foundation allows children to grow up in a family environment and for biological siblings to stay together.
